I graduated from Western Illinois University with a degree in fashion merchandising, fueled by a passion to create something truly unique. Inspired by the emerging trend of LEDs, I taught myself to solder and embed LEDs into accessories. This innovation gave birth to the now-iconic lighted hair clip—the ZuZu Flower.

Over a decade later, I am proud to say that LEDlutions, Inc. continues to shine as a leader in innovative light-up accessories. After perfecting our design, I took the leap to incorporate my business, build a dynamic e-commerce platform, and secure a patent for our exclusive light-up flower clip design—a milestone that sets us apart and underscores our commitment to originality.

But beyond the patent, what truly drives me is knowing that our product empowers wearers by boosting their self-confidence, enhancing their visibility, and keeping them safe. As I like to say, “ZuZu Flowers bring out the inner princess in everyone, no matter their age.”
